This page is for Concourse Club members to stay informed of our meetings and member events.  If you're interested in joining Concourse Club, please contact our membership chair, Joan Turko, at 610.826.2716 or send an email to us at concourseclub@gmail.com.

Our April meeting and May Anniversary Dinner have been cancelled due to COVID-19 guidelines. We apologize for the inconvenience and will attempt to reschedule our program on Women's Suffrage in the fall to celebrate 100 years of the Women's Right to Vote. Stay tuned for more details - we'll send them as soon as they are available.

Due to COVID-19 preparedness and guidelines, the Concourse Club is postponing our Spring Basket Spectacular until the Fall, at a date to be determined. The club is allowing patrons to either use any purchased tickets in the fall at the new date. Here's what to do about the tickets:

  1. If you sold your tickets and submitted your stubs and a patron would like a refund, have them contact Carol Curcio at 610.393.4625 or cacc@ptd.net.
  2. If you sold your tickets but did not yet turn in the stubs, contact your buyers and explain the situation. If they want a refund, please provide it out of the money that you have to turn in. Keep the stub and mark it as refunded. This will allow us to track any tickets accidentally submitted in the fall if they happen win a drawing. (Try to get the ticket back to avoid any accidents but if you can't, the stub will allow us to track it.)
  3. If you have not yet sold your tickets, you may want to wait until the new date is decided and mark it on the ticket before selling it.

The Art Committee is gearing up for September's art show and is always looking for additional members! Contact Pat Kern at pkdek@aol.com.

The club's next Advisory Board is tentatively scheduled for Monday, April 27th.

The club continues to collect Boxtops, which we contribute to the Palmerton Area Junior High to fund field trips for students who have financial difficulty and would otherwise not attend. Please give your boxtops to Lisa Snell Kern.

Also collected are travel-size toiletries which may be given to Joan Turko. During the Christmas holidays, they are attractively packaged and given to recipients of the food bank.
