JOIN US TO KICK OFF OUR CLUB YEAR...

...It's sure to be a "Spooktacular" night on Thursday, October 3rd as the Palmerton Area High School Drama Club presents "Tips and Tricks for Halloween Makeup". Costumes are optional if you'd like to add to the fun. This meeting is an open meeting and begins at 7pm. Bring along a friend who may be interested in the Concourse Club!  We've got a lot to cover at our inaugural meeting of the club year and hope to see you there! (As a note, there will be no pot luck/covered dish dinner this year. Due to feedback in our survey at the end of last year, we've elected to give it the year off. Will it be back next year? That's up to you- let us know!)

Members of the November hospitality committee will meet at the conclusion of our October meeting. They include: Co-chairs- Christine Campbell and Connie Holland; Committee Members- Nancy Costenbader, Caron Fenstermacher, Jennie Rose Serfass, Diane Huber, Romaine Biege, and Fern Breininger.

ART SHOW & FESTIVAL TICKET VOLUNTEERS
Thank you to our ladies who volunteered at the Art & Photo Show and sold tickets for rides at the festival. We couldn't have done it without you! If you have feedback regarding the art show, please contact Pat Kern at concourseclubartshow@gmail.com.

BOSCOV'S DAYS...WEDNESDAY, OCT. 16TH

See Joan Turko for your Boscov's Days tickets. Just $5 each, which is all profit for the Concourse Club! Tickets will be available at our meeting on October 5th.

NEXT ADVISORY BOARD MTG

The club's Advisory Board will meet on Monday, October 21st at 7pm at the Palmerton Area Library.

BOXTOPS & TOILETRIES
The club continues to collect Boxtops, which we contribute to the Palmerton Area Junior High to fund field trips for students who have financial difficulty and would otherwise not attend. Please give your boxtops to Lisa Snell Kern.

Also collected are travel-size toiletries which may be given to Joan Turko. During the Christmas holidays, they are attractively packaged and given to recipients of the food bank.
