November Monthly Meeting- The Drug Crisis (Open Meeting)

Bring a friend and join us as Joe Guardiani leads a discussion surrounding the current drug crisis across the nation, including our local area.  Joe is the Vice President of Development & Government Relations at Blue Mountain Health Systems and is bringing his experience with drug and alcohol education to the Concourse Club.  This is one of our two open meetings this club year and we encourage you to bring along any interested family or friends.  Our November meeting begins at 7pm at St. John's Fireline Church.  See you there!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas?!?

The Friends of the Park committee invites you to join them as they prepare to decorate the borough park for the holidays.  We will be making bows on Monday, November 6th at 9:30am in the borough hall and we anticipate hanging the bows on Monday, November 13th at a time to be determined.  When making bows, please bring a scissors and/or ruler where possible.

...And, once again, Mary Smida will be heading up our Bake Sale at Christmas in the Park on Saturday, December 2nd.  We're always looking for volunteers to help man the stand and are counting on our faithful Concourse Club bakers who always pull out all the stops when it comes to delectable goods!  With questions, contact Mary at 610.824.7202.

Thrift Store Treasures
This year, we'll be trying something new at our March meeting- Thrift Store Treasures!  Ladies are encouraged to search area thrift stores and create an outfit that can be worn to our March meeting.  We're giving you advance warning to be on the lookout for thrift stores in the area and design an outfit.  We think you'll be surprised by what you can find and we're looking forward to seeing your creativity!
